Yes as long as you pick up poop

Yes, can be any time of the day but probably best on tidal changes.

Yes and you can even sit on the small beach
yes there is a bridge u can walk right up
Most all of them
When I was in my teens and early 20's visiting my family that wintered here, we went fishing every morning from the cat walks under the old bridge that was replaced 2008-2010. But to be more current and answer your question you can fish from gettys on the north & south sides or I like going back behind John's Pass Village and you can drive down the street that runs east & west between the north side & the boardwalk back to Waltz Fish Shack, park then fish across the street from Waltz at the eastern end where the boardwalk ends. Its east of the wave runner rentals & Hubbards 1/4, 1/2 & full day fishing trips out into the Gulf. I think they still offer to cook your catch at their restaurant. Talk about fresh fish. ....

The best food I've had at the beach anywhere. Onion rings are gigantic. My lobster roll was the best I've ever had. Daughters grilled cheese was also delicious. Will return for sure
Very happy with the outstanding service and food. Great atmosphere and highly recommended. Chicken Philly was insanely delicious, one of the best I've had. (Honestly)
Its been over 27 years since I was here last. What wonderful memories, much has changed but much stayed the same.
The best Traditional New England Lobster Roll and French Fries ever! Love their service and smiles!
Stumbled across this hidden jem and just had to jump in and give it a try. This was definitely worth the stop. Tons of lobster with a touch of butter on a toasted bun...C'mon...this was great.
Lived in florida 30 yrs, freshest grouper sandwich I have ever had. Excellent
Kristin recommended the Philly & "Lobstah" Roll!! Both were Outrageous!! Can't wait to come back! And don't forget the Onion Rings👌
Excellent little hole-in-the-wall type place along John's Pass boardwalk. I had the lobster roll with fries, which is what they're known for, and they were great. Good sea view across the the little diner in this little hidden cove, so I felt like a local dining here (even though I'm not). Definitely a place you should try when you're strolling by this walkway!
Loved it! I had the lobster roll. The roll was buttered and toasted perfectly. The lobster was plentiful and not overpowered by other flavors. Everything complemented the lobster. I was dismayed by the small size of the roll until I tasted it. My son said the shrimp po boy was amazing! He made it a combo with fried pickles, which were flavorful. My daughter had the shrimp tacos. She said they were superb. The sauce was tasty and ingredients were fresh. The shrimp basket was economical. The fries were seasoned well and the shrimp were breaded and butterflied. We will return.
Honestly 12/10. This place is a gem. The lobster rolls were UNREAL. Worth every penny. We got a combo with deep fried pickles which were a combo between pickle chips and your usual deep fried pickles, delish. Quite possibly the best spot on the boardwalk.
Pretty good place to eat. Great fish sandwiches. Kind of small so can be a wait to eat sometimes if John's Pass is crowded.
Freaking amazing food. Everything was so good.....tacos, cheese steaks, burgers, grilled sandwiches...and the fried Oreos were the bomb. Cool crew, Taylor, Chelsea, Jeff, Tylor were awesome. Fun atmosphere. Great food. Awesome prices 👍. Will definitely be back.
So I read the reviews about the unfriendly service but didn’t believe it. I waited to be seated but other customers were seated first. The staff just kept telling me longer wait times till I gave up and left.
I visit regularly but today was different. The cook was wiping has face. Then without changing gloves he cooked the food. Not to mention his mask sat on his chin the whole time. Well I guess I won't be back.
Best Fried Grouper Sandwich ever!Definitely will be back. So fresh and great taste! It was enough for my boyfriend and I to split. Definitely recommend it!
This was just a small little restaurant at the John's Boardwalk Plaza. My daughter & I stopped in just to grab a small bite later in the evening as they were about to close but they were real nice &went ahead and served us. They have a like device on their wall where they handout the fries. I got fish tacos & my daughter got the fries &maybe a sandwich. Those fries were huge & lightly salted and very delicious & my fish tacos were very good with a slaw they make themselves-so good. If you are at the boardwalk you have to stop in and try their food, especially the fries
I started here this morning with their breakfast sandwich, which was excellent. I noticed their lobster roll sign and returned for lunch. It was one of the best I have had. The grill is on the boardwalk. It is a little pricey, but I will definitely return.
This was definitely a good find. Small place. The waitress greeted us with a big smile. Took excellent care if us. I had the fish and chips. Grouper was used and it was fresh. I added the malt vinegar. The fries were hand cut and crispy. Delicious! My husband the the grouper sandwich blackened. He absolutely loved it. Will definitely come back.
Loved the grouper!!! Also, don't forget to top it off with fried oreos!!! It was an awesome dinner for everyone!
This place is a great hole-in-the-wall spot. It's definitely a small area, so you may have to wait before you can be seated to eat. If it were me, I'd take it to-go and find a nice place to sit in the area. There's plenty of benches and little lunch spots that you can relax and enjoy the scenery. My hubby went with the classic lobster roll while I went with the fish tacos. Personally, I liked the fish tacos a lot better. The lobster roll was good, but it lacked flavor. It just tasted like lobster, which is always good, but it could've used some butter or spicy mayo or something on it. It just needed something to spice it up. The fish tacos, on the other hand, were awesome. They had a great flavor to them and were buttery and delicious. I highly recommend those. I ate the entire thing.Definitely a great little spot and worth checking out! Walk around the area though because there's lots of little great shops along the boardwalk there.
Wow! Fantastic food, service, and price! Highly suggest. Fried pickles are the best we have ever had.
Great small grill on the second floor of the boardwalk. Grouper sandwich was fresh, very fresh. Will be back
A quaint little restaurant on the boardwalk. Each order is made as you wait, which really shows in the quality of the ingredients! I had the fried shrimp po'boy. The bun was soft yet crisp on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. I could have eaten two if I was hangry! My bro-in-law had the grilled grouper sandwich - he was very impressed with the portion of the fillet and taste! Definitely give this joint a try!!
Phenomenal food! The lobster was the best I've ever had! I've had them in Boston and Newport RI and they're not even close to these. The dressing was very light, didn't overpower the lobster. The bread grilled to perfection, with just a hint of sweetness, similar to Hawaiian bread, but not as sweet. The fish and chips were great as well. They used fresh caught grouper, lightly battered with homemade fries, in addition the portions were very generous! We also had shrimp tacos, again lightly battered locally sourced shrimp tossed in their housemade "dang screwy" sauce. A sweet mayo based sauce. Lastly we got their hand dipped onion rings, what can I say, another great addition. Being a self proclaimed "foodie" and really not liking the chain restaurant, this is by far one of the best local places I've eaten in quite awhile!
We used UberEats and placed an order here which was our first time eating here. The food was awesome. They were less than a mile away from our condo so Uber got it here fast and hot. The only downside, in all fairness, was that we ordered a burger with ketchup and mustard and no mayo (my wife hates mayo) and all we got was mayo. Kind of bummed about that. It’s the only thing holding me back from giving them five stars. It’s kind of petty but five stars is a perfectly filled order in my world. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone.
